Diego Ramos Studio is a Barcelona-based design studio, and has since 2005 been collaborating with other creative structures, individuals and clients from different parts of the world.
Diego Ramos (Barcelona, 1978) studied at Eina - Escola de Disseny de Barcelona. After this period he move to London to study a Design Product MA in the Royal College of Art, where he had the opportunity to work closer to Ron Arad, Tord Bontje, Ab Rogers and Shona Kitchen tutors of his Platform, and to experience this creative favela.
After short periods in Italy, Madrid and Valencia he set up his studio in Barcelona.
Despite his education in product design, he approaches other directions and design areas. This open minded way of working let him to collaborate with a collective of professionals/friends that help him to be able to accept challenges in order to question, explore and solve problems with innovative processes and enrich the final solution.
He also develops personal projects that try to explore our everyday live and question the role of the design in our "product environment". At the same time he teach Workshops in design Universities in a way to get close to the new designers generations and learn from they different ways to understand the design.
His works is been exhibited in Mexico, Brazil, London, Tokyo, Madrid and Barcelona, and is been awarded in some international design contest.
Recently his work form part of the Applied Arts Museum in Barcelona.
